The Sagra delle Sette Minestre (Festival of the Seven Soups) has been held on the first Sunday of August in Pisterzo, a hamlet of Prossedi, for over thirty years. It brings locals and tourists together to taste different soups, each with its own flavour and ingredients.
Prepared according to a traditional recipe handed down through generations: stale bread seasoned with broad beans, lentils, broccoli, onions, beans, pork rinds and chickpeas.
Besides celebrating the typical flavours of the village, the festival offers live music, dancing and other cultural activities that make it an unforgettable experience.
