Every year in August, the narrow streets of Prossedi come alive by night for the Mangiando tra i Vicoli (Eating in the Streets) festival. The Pontine municipality's all-nighter begins when the sun sets and lasts until dawn.
An itinerary of local delicacies takes over with traditional dishes and good wine. Besides the unique flavours, what makes this annual event so special is the sound of live music echoing through the streets, the display of flag throwers that projects you into an atmosphere of the past, and the street performers' show that involves both you and your children.
