The cultivation and production zone of Gaeta PDO olives includes some territories of the Province of Latina, among these there are also Maenza, Priverno and Prossedi. It is obtained exclusively from the fruits of the Itrana olive variety.

The Gaeta PDO olive is characterised by its purple colour and vinous flavour with various shades of vinegar.

Very tasty as a delicious appetizer or aperitif and excellent in sauces, meat and fish dishes.
