Established in 1927, the Ryder Cup is the most prestigious international golf competition in the world, featuring two teams: one consisting of the best American players and one with the best European players."
This important sporting event, the third most-watched in the world after the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup, with over one billion viewers, is organized every two years, alternating between the United States and Europe. The 2023 edition will be the 44th, and for the first time in almost 100 years of history, it will be hosted in Italy: from Tuesday, September 26th, to Sunday, October 1st, at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio.
The event is open to the public and includes three days of practice (September 26-28) and three days of competition (September 29 - October 1), during which 50,000 spectators per day are expected, with a total of 270,000 attendees over the course of the event week.

LAVATOIO
Exhibition of traditional clothing and embroidery, including gold embroidery, inside the historic and fascinating Lavatoio dating back to the 18th century. The Lavatoio can be admired at Via Santa Maria No. 34 in Montecelio.

GUIDONIA
THE FOUNDATION CITY - URBAN TREKKING
"Walking through History" through Urban Trekking: Guided tour inside the historic Alfredo Barbieri Airport of Guidonia, with a special tour at the DSSE (Superior Directorate of Studies and Experiences) and in the Foundation City, showcasing rationalist architecture dating back to 1937.
